Friday Student Highlight Reel Series

This project involves uploading a highlight reel every Friday, alternating between campuses: Weeks 1 and 3 feature Asia Campus students, while Weeks 2 and 4 focus on Salt Lake City Campus students. I coordinated with a student intern located in Korea (Asia Campus) to manage the project.
I noticed that our current social media content leaned heavily towards showcasing the fun aspects of campus life. To balance this, I decided to emphasize the academic achievements and career aspirations of our students. Each student featured in the series introduces their career goals, dream job, and the steps they are taking to achieve these goals. This approach helps convey that our school not only offers a fun environment but also fosters a strong commitment to career development and future planning among students.
To streamline the production process, I created a logo and a template Premiere Pro project file, allowing me to efficiently produce the reels in a short time. When Asia Campus student interns provided the video footage, I took on the task of editing to ensure consistency and quality across all content. The series has been successful in engaging the student body, partly because it highlights their peers, making it more relatable. One of the best-performing reels reached 28.4k views with 229 interactions.

Challenges & Solutions
Recruiting students for the series was initially challenging, so I launched a volunteer sign-up at the beginning of the semester. This allowed me to schedule most of the content in advance, making the recruitment process more efficient and ensuring a steady flow of participants throughout the semester.
By creating the logo and template, I made the process smoother and faster, allowing for quicker production while keeping the quality high.
